I see patients regularly to monitor their blood pressure, heart rate, height, weight and long-term conditions & depending on the results of these tests I give lifestyle advice to help them live a healthier lifestyle.

I give childhood & adult immunisations to keep our population safe as well as routine vaccines to adults.

I also take women’s cervical smears & encourage those overdue to book by explaining the full procedure & what we are looking for and trying to prevent.

Within my current role as a practice nurse, I’m interested in Cervical screening, this is because ultimately having a cervical smear could save your life However, I am also very interested in Diabetes, as again with the correct lifestyle advice and medication this can change someone’s life.
